Humphries and Company has been in the forefront of the LEED effort in Georgia beginning with our selection as the interior contractor for the first Gold-Certified LEED project in the southeast, the A.M. Blank Family Foundation building. Since that project in 2004, Humphries and Company has completed eight high profile LEED certified projects in the Atlanta area. Many of our project managers and superintendents have been involved in these projects, and Scott Moore, Vice President with Humphries, was our first LEED Accredited Professional. We have developed the knowledge, expertise, and experience to assist clients in determining their best LEED strategy, while assuring successful implementation in the field.

Humphries and Company’s LEED Accredited Professionals will bring to your project the benefit of our many years of experience and ensure that your particular LEED effort is as seamless and smooth as possible, while delivering the best in quality and maintaining your bottom line. On every LEED project we:
- Work with the Project’s Design Team/Engineers/LEED Consultant to set project goals and establish LEED scorecard.
- Price all proposed LEED points and help provide detailed cost analysis and ROI on each point.
- Ensure client is getting the most cost effective LEED points so they may achieve project goals for the least amount of money.
- Be proactive and offer alternative means of achieving points and/or innovation points often based on past experience.
- Establish a construction schedule that incorporates the LEED aspect of the project.
- Track all submittals as it relates to the LEED.
- Provide tracking and detailed documentation of all specified materials for the project.
- Complete and submit the online templates for the points assigned to the General Contractor.
- Take responsibility for communicating all LEED goals/points to all subcontractor/supplier teams to achieve overall project goals.
- Provide final documentation required by the LEED consultant and the USGBC for final submission for certification.
